Instructions to make Rava uttapam with red chutney:
- In a bowl take rava add yoghurt and salt mix well.add little by little water and make a semi thick batter.cover and keep aside for ten minutes.
- Take the chopped veggies and add chilli flakes, pepper powder and little salt.keep aside.
- Take rava batter add one tsp oil and baking soda mix well.heat a pan on low flame take a full spoon of batter put on the pan and spread evenly.add little oil on the edge and put some veggies mixture on it.press lightly with a spatula and cook on low to medium flame for 3-4 minutes. then flip it and cook it on other side for 2-3 minutes. Prepare all the uttapam.
- For making chutney take a pan add one tsp oil heat it add mustard seeds and urad sal add curry leaves,whole red chilli, chopped onion, tomatoes and saute for 2-3 minutes.now add red chilli powder,tamarind water and salt.mix well then add a pinch of sugar and fennel seeds cover it and cooked for 3-4 minutes.then turn off the flame.let it cool down
- Take all the chutney mixture in a grinding jar and grind it to make a smooth paste add little water if needed. Serve the rava uttapam with this red chutney and enjoy.
