  4. Then put the plate into steamer. Cook it for 15-20 mins.
  5. For tadka, add oil into heavy bottom pan. Add musterd seeds, green chilli. Cook it for 1 mins
  6. Then add sugar and water. Cook it until sugar melts.
  7. Then cut the dhokla. Add all the tadka on dhokla.
  8. Garnish it with Coriander leaves.

This salty snack has a texture similar to cake. This will be used to steam the dhokla. When the water boils, turn down the heat to medium. Technically dhokla and khaman are different. Dhokla is made from a fermented batter of ground rice and chana dal.
