- Take 1 spoon salt (or according to taste)
- Take As required Coriander for garnishing
Steps to make Hariyali Dhokla:
- Remove stems from spinach and wash nicely and let it dry.
- Grind paste in a jar to make a smooth batter.
- In a bowl mix suji, curd and spinach.
- Now take half quantity of taken oil, green chilli paste, salt and lemon juice and mix nicely. Keep the mixture aside for 15 minutes.
- Now in another bowl take gram floor and left over curd, green chilli paste, salt, oil and lemon juice and mix nicely.
- If batter looks thick add some water and keep for another 5 minutes.
- Keep in mind both the batter should have same consistency to make yummy Dhokla.
- Take idli stand and grease the mould of idlis with oil. Add a spoon full of Eno salt in a batter and mix.
- Mix Eno salt in a gram floor batter and pour it above suji batter and mix with spoon.
- Pour water in a idli stand upto 2 inch and boil it. Keep idli plates in it and cover it. Steam batter for 15 minutes at medium high flame.
- To check dhokla is ready insert knife in a Dhokla and take it out, if knife is clean it means Dhokla is ready.
- Cool down the Dhokla and take out in a plate. Cut into desired shapes.
- In a pan pour 1 big spoon oil and heat. Now crackle mustard seeds, and put curry leaves, slited green chillies and til and spread the tadka on dhokla.
- Serve with tamarind or green chutney.
