  2. Prepare 1 Cup Moong dal (soaked 4-5 hours in water)

  4. Take 2 green chillies finely chopped
  5. Take 1 Inch ginger finely chopped
  6. Make ready 1 tsp Eno fruit salt
  7. Take 1/2 tsp salt
  8. Prepare For Tempering
  9. Prepare 2 tsp Oil
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  11. Get 4-5 curry leaves
  12. Get 1 Pinch asafoetida
Instructions to make Moong Dal Dhokla:
  1. For Dhokla- - - Drain the water from Soak Moong dal and put it into the grinder jar, then add ginger and green chillies in it and make a smooth batter, and grease the dhokla pot with oil.
  2. Now transfer batter into the bowl and add curd, salt in it and mix it well, then add Eno fruit salt in it and mix gently, when it turns fluffy dhokla batter is ready.
  3. Transfer dhokla batter into the greased pot and place it in the steamer. Steam it for 15-20 minutes, then switch off heat and let it cool down.
  4. For Tempering- - - Heat oil in a pan, add asafoetida and mustard seeds in it and allow to crackle, then add curry leaves. Fry on low flame till leaves are crispy, then switch off the flame. Add 2 tbsp water to the tadka pan and mix it well.
  5. Spread tempting all over the dhokla and cut it in square shape. Tasty Moong dal dhokla is reddy to serve. Serve it along with tea.
