  1. Make ready yellow moong dal
  2. Get warm milk
  3. Take ghee
  4. Get saffron threads

Instructions to make Moong Dal Ka Halwa:
  1. Soak moong dal in water for at least 3 hours. Then drain out the water.
  2. Grind it into a coarse paste using water. Also dissolve saffron strands into a tbsp of warm milk.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan. Add the moong dal paste and cook for 25 minutes with continuous stirring.
  4. Then add milk. Again cook for 5-7 minutes with continuous stirring.
  5. Add sugar to the halwa. And cook for another 5-7 minutes on medium flame and stir continuously.
  6. Then add saffron milk and cardamom powder. Mix it well. And let it be on medium flame for 4-5 minutes.
  7. Make sure you stir it constantly. Serve it hot. Garnish it with almonds.
