The pasta cooks right in the sauce, so this satisfying dish can cook in just one pot. Goulash (Hungarian: gulyás) is a soup of meat and vegetables usually seasoned with paprika and other spices. Originating in medieval Hungary, goulash is a common meal predominantly eaten in Central Europe but also in other parts of Europe. It is one of the national dishes of Hungary and a symbol of the country.

Steps to make Goulash:
  1. Wash & chop the vegetables. Heat oil in a pan, add onions, saute for a while till they get translucent, then add paprika powder & stir & marinate the meat with soya sauce & lemon juice.
  2. To it, then add the meat, salt, black pepper powder & stir. Then add chopped garlic, red chillies & required amount of water so that the meat is fully covered & cover & cook in medium flame.
  3. When the meat is half boiled, add more 5 cup water, potato, capsicum, tomato, carrot, beans & again cover & cook.
  4. When the vegetables are half boiled, add tomato sauce, stir. At this stage, note that there should be enough water in it as it should have a thin soup like consistency.
  5. When the vegetables & meat are boiled fully, add some freshly crushed black pepper & chopped parsley in it & remove it from heat source. And your delicious Goulash is ready to serve.

American beef goulash is what you see here: a one-pot meal made with ground beef, pasta, tomato sauce, and cheese. Hungarian goulash, on the other hand, is more of a stew, prepared with cubes of beef (often chuck roast) and vegetables swimming in a paprika-kissed tomato broth. There are several types of Goulash.
