- Add mashed corn & mix well… Now add turmeric powder & salt & mix well…cook it for 2-3 min..
- Add milk, mix well..& cover the lid and cook about 3 min..
- Cook till milk completely absorbed & oil start leaving the sides..
- Now add sugar & lemon juice..& mix well.. cook for 1 min..
- Now it's ready to serve…
Makai no chevdo recipe - This is Gujarati snack made from desi corn (makai) or sweet corn. In some part of Gujarat, it is known as makai khichdi. Don't get confused by the word chivda or chevdo. This is not dry kind which we make during the diwali like cornflakes chivda, cereal chivda or poha chivda.
