- Bring some water to the boil in another pan then add the gnocchi, boil for 3 minutes.
- Season the pancetta and bacon mixture then add Italian seasoning and passata, allow to simmer for 5-10minutes.
- Drain gnocchi then stir into the sauce mixture.
Lift the gnocchi out of the water using a slotted spoon and drain well. Heat a frying pan until hot. Melt the butter, then add the gnocchi and fry until golden-brown. To serve, add the fried gnocchi to the sauce and cook until hot through. Serve scattered with the Parmesan and basil.
