- Steam meat and pour into pot of cooking egussi and stir
- Allow egussi to cook well then wash vegetable and pour into egussi and stir
- Allow vegetable to steam for 4-5 minutes, then remove soup from fire. Egussi soup is ready.
- Serve egussi soup with tuwon shinkafa and enjoy
- Cut water melon and pineapple after washing and eat after eating tuwo so as to give u a balance diet and also to help digest food and for good nutrition.
It is surprisingly easy to make. It can be eaten with any Nigerian native soup. However, I always recommend that you eat it with Miyan Taushe (Pumpkin soup) which I have a bias for.
