  2. Get soaked masoor dal
  3. Get full cup soaked rice

This Khichdi recipe is made with soaked mung beans or lentils and toasted buckwheat , also known as Kashi, (or sub rice) and your choice of cleansing vegetables like carrots, celery, fennel, cauliflower. Instructions to make Podina khichdi:
  1. First take cookingpot,pour oil and switch on flame.
  2. Then after 1 minutes,add long, elachi, whole black pepper and make it saute for 1 minute.
  3. After make it saute,add cutted podina
  4. Then saute it for 2 minutes.
  5. Add soaked mong and masoor dal.
  6. After 5 minutes,add soaked rice.
  7. Also add 1full cup of water.
  8. Stir with spoon and wait untill water dry and dal rice becomes completely mix
  9. Now when water becomes dry,and dal rice soft,khichdi is ready to eat. Take out in serving plate and garning with mint leaves.
  10. Serve with chutney or Raita.

Sabudana khichadi is new to me and made this only. Maharashtrian Sabudana Khichdi for Vrat is a perfect food for those on a fast - but generally wiped off by others in the family who are not on a fast also, because it is so irresistibly tasty! Tapioca khichdi is great for breakfast or as a snack and it tastes delicious. Sabudana also known as Tapioca makes a great Khichdi. This recipe is mildly spiced and peanuts give it a light crunch.
